CAETS Annual Conference 2024

IAS President Prof. Dr. Matjaž Mikoš attended the Annual General Meeting of the International Council of Academies of Engineering and Technological Sciences (CAETS), jointly organised by the Council of Finnish Academies and the Finnish Academy of Technical Sciences, in Helsinki, Finland, from 1 to 4 July 2024.

The Annual General Meeting included a very interesting two-day technical symposium on "Carbon Neutral Technologies and Society". In addition to addressing the multi-faceted societal changes, the consultation programme included sessions on energy technology, transport and construction, and mechanical engineering, chemistry and food.
