Igor ŠKRJANC

Prof. Dr. Škrjanc comes from the Ljubljana School of Automation, which emphasizes the concept of modeling, simulation and control in the design of cybernetic systems. In his research work, Prof. Škrjanc has focused on the theory and application of computational intelligence methods in monitoring, supervision, and control of cybernetic systems, which is a distinct interdisciplinary area and occurs in very different problem domains. He has successfully introduced the field of intelligent systems into the research of his research group and has successfully implemented it through a number of projects not only in various processes in the country, but also abroad. Dr. Škrjanc is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Ljubljana, and Head of the Laboratory of Automation and Cybernetics, Head of the Department of Systems, Automation and Cybernetics, and Chair of Excellence at the Carlos III University of Madrid, Spain.
